There's a bug (or narrative inconsistency) in 0.4 that causes you to tell Jade you agreed to Stella's deal even when you chose to refuse.

They will start confronting you in the shower every time after you listen to them have sex, it's not the 'hiding from the RA' scene.

For men it's specifically chinos or slacks, iirc. So the vinyl pants wouldn't work, but I don't know what it says for women

You're most likely to hear them having sex on the weekend, but I think you might need to select the 'Set alarm for 7:00' option for the best chance? And once you do that, after waking you need to head straight for the showers.

Just checked the tumblr, and yeah, it's gone. It's unfortunate, but if they need to prioritise themselves, then I'd rather they do that over anything else.

For what it's worth, the tumblr links on this page and at the end of the demo are currently broken (they go to the wrong url, which no longer exists).

Is there a particular reason that the game needs to be played via the app? Or is it more of an ease of installation thing?

Encountered a bug; if you choose to not have a persona in the prologue (just being yourself), then choose the kind and humble response, the kind/rude stat bar will break.

Edit: As far as I can tell, this then results in the character being perceived as 100% rude (there is a TopOfIt comment said that my character's arrogance was apparently hot, despite avoiding rude and arrogant choices where possible)

Edit2: Also, apparently, there's no way to restart mid-game? Which seems like a potential oversight.

Also, the postcards don't seem to be available in the gallery.

Honestly, enjoyed the game immensely. There are some good mechanics here and the art's great, too.

The only thing I might say is that the 'Greedy Mystery' and 'Tanuki Mystery' achievements might be bugged, in that their hints don't disappear after unlocking them.

As far as I can tell, you need to keep listening in on them, and then going to take a shower. That's when the roommate's partner will approach you.

Best I can tell you is that you may also need to wake up at 7AM? But it does seem a bit staggered in when it'll trigger.

Oh, I know that you can't customise NPC genders, but the world generation will usually draw from the male/female/nonbinary selections and the player character's sexuality, there, so I'm basing that particular comment on a slight assumption. And most of these characters will be met via normal gameplay, but it's better to have a list of all the characters and not need half of 'em, than to want to find characters you might be missing but only have an incomplete list to go off of.

It's still an incomplete list, so there's probably still characters missing, and I'm mostly just making it for the heck of it, so slightly incorrect stuff is fine by me lol. When I say 'meet' I usually mean 'they have a storyline they are mainly associated with', as usually you can find several of the student characters just out and about during the day (that's how I found out about the Well-Meaning Athlete, for example). The QB Organiser is also on the cheer team for me, but since she has a storyline there, and that's the title she has, then that's how you would technically 'meet' her.

For newer players, this is a work-in-progress of all characters that are unique and customisable and how to meet them. This does not confirm that they possess any special route or narrative to pursue. Non-customisable characters, such as the professors, are not included. (Note: customisable characters are only marked as customisable if you have that setting on in the options, but it's not required to find them in the world).

University Students

  • The BFF (prologue)
  • The Roommate (prologue)
  • The Roommate's Partner (met randomly one morning)
  • The Chipper Student Advisor (the tour guide from the bus tour)
  • The Resident Advisor (so far only encountered randomly)
  • The Classroom Admirer (met by attending class)
  • The Classroom Harasser (met by attending class)
  • The Rich Kid (unconfirmed)

I've seen stuff about the Dorm RA in the comments, but never met them myself.

Sports Teams (Work In Progress)

  • E-Girl/E-Guy (E-Sports team, gender variation unconfirmed)
  • 360 No-Scoper (E-Sports team, team captain)
  • E-Sports Coach
  • Cheer Coach
  • Football Coach
  • Swim Coach
  • Star Quarterback
  • Head Cheerleader/Cheer Captain (title unconfirmed
  • Ambitious/Star Swimmer (title unconfirmed)
  • The Well-Meaning Athlete (Football team)

University Staff

  • The Summit Market Manager
  • The Mail Centre Worker
  • The Campus Clinic Doctor
  • The Campus Clinic Nurse

Riverside

  • The QuickieBurger Franchise Owner (met by getting a job at QB)
  • The QuickieBurger Organiser (student at the university, don't think I've seen them around though)
  • The QuickieBurger Coworker (same as above, not sure if I got their title right)
  • The Arcade Denizen (met after learning about special side bets)
  • The Parasocial Fan (met via a random town event after getting streaming popularity or at the River Rat)
  • The Tattoo Artist (met only by going to the tattoo shop, afaik)
  • The Piercing Specialist (as above)

No, the shoes stay on, obviously. Why would you ever take them off?

Is the coach unique like the professors or like other customisable characters?

Are they a unique/customisable character? Or just someone randomly generated?

The professors, though I know they're technically unique, I didn't include since you can't customise them.

You cannot change world generation options mid-game. When you generate the world, you are creating a seed - this seed then populates the world with characters fitting the options you laid out.

Note: these are all of the special (customisable) characters that I have encountered currently as of my previous and current runs. I'm not that far into my 0.4 savefile yet, so there may be more that were added and I may not have even met all of the ones in 0.3. There's also not content available for all of them, so far as I can tell.

Honestly couldn't tell you. I only met them the once, and then I started fresh for 0.4, so it'll take a bit of time to get there again.

So there is a Parasocial Fan that you can encounter by doing gaming/chatting/etc streams, and you meet them by wandering around in town rather than on campus. Maybe try that?

So I'm still struggling a bit with the Best Friend storyline. I've learned the secret of the quad party, but so far nothing's changed. Is it still just a case of continuing to raise party popularity, since I'm playing as a guy?

In theory, yes. From what I've seen, you need to have a low Release stat, you need to encounter someone in the showers, and you need Disinhibition of 2 (for a shy proposition) or 4 (for a bold proposition) in order to trigger it.

My best theory is that it's linked to the Physical skill (it would make sense, if nothing else), so you'll need to go to the gym or something, but it is possible to succeed on the check. Or it could be related to your party popularity, etc., hard to say.

They answered this for me a few days ago; for the best friend route, you need to go to the end-of-week parties.

Thank you for the reply! Glad to know I was going along the right lines of thinking re: 1 and 3, and it's good to know regarding 2 that it's mostly me just not trying everything out + stubbornly trying to ask my best friend on a date. I do think a couple more events triggering might make the campus feel more alive, but I can see you're already doing plenty of work there (saw the changes to the park and the cafeterias) so I'm eager to see where things go either way.

One last question and a suggestion, then, if that's alright;

- Question: You don't need to share (unless you want to, ofc) because giving it away might take away some of the fun of it, but do all Persistent NPCs have (or will in future) have events to pursue/unlock? The QuickieBurger boss and the mail desk employee and so on? (tbh, with them and the classroom admirer and the ones I've already mentioned, I can't think of any others, but you might have more planned, I don't know).

- Suggestion: This is a bit of a take-it-or-leave-it because it's probably a lot more work and I don't want you to make things too hard for yourself. But something along the lines of the Things To Do tab (which kind of serve the same purpose already) or that shows up by enabling cheats, because walkthroughs are a little bit cheaty, to give hints/suggestions towards the different character storylines, maybe even in the character profiles, i.e., with the Roommate, you could have a 'Wait and see...' hint or something like that.

So I hope it's okay to just ask a couple of quick questions?

1. Does the Friday night party happen every Friday? This is just for clarification, I wanted to figure those out.

2. How many of the persistent characters have events/can you progress your relationship with? I'm trying to figure out if I'm just doing it wrong when trying to date the Best Friend, plus I've only managed to trigger the Roommate's Partner events once (when they hide in the showers), plus certain characters just don't seem to show up again at all (Classroom Harasser).  Obviously, the game's still a work in progress but I'm just trying to figure out if it's like, a settings thing.

3. Do the clinic, frat houses, and suites not really have anything to do yet, or is the former for when your 'health' gets low (or birth control/morning after stuff), and the latter just related to hooking up with specific students?

(1 edit)

I can't seem to change the default name? Is this a known issue, or is it something wrong on my end, or just a temporary thing?

Edit: Oops, nevermind. Refreshed the tab and it fixed itself somehow.

It's a random encounter at the Adventurer's Guild, iirc.

It's essentially you being shy/oblivious about your own feelings. It's a common thing in IFs like this to provide both a 'bold/direct' and 'shy/oblivious' option, which allows you to form a romance with a character in both ways. This helps for people who want to romance a character but don't want to be a flirt, and the player can still be 'pursuing' a particular character's route, but they are permitted to be shy about it, to be the 'pursued' instead, in some cases.

So I played this a while back but I wanted to come back and check if there's been any updates/new info. There hasn't, but I played it again anyway because I do love it.

So spoilers, but

I'm so torn with the Call Scytha/Call Rohan's people choice. Because going with Scytha is one of the few ways that you can get IVI back right now, but also going with Rohan's people gives you the opportunity to build relationships more - I'm guessing that's the whole axis of that choice, tbh. And I know that the chance to get IVI back will come along later in the storyline anyway but with how I play the Operative (frankly just devastated by losing her, and willing to do anything short of murder/grevious bodily harm to get her back... that chance, it feels so important to get it.

Hi! There's a great premise here, but there's unfortunately multiple errors regarding grammar in multiple parts of the story. For example, when being sincere to Nicolas about finding Tomas' whistle, you say the following;

"Tomas would be grateful if you lend your help, so do I."

'Lend' should be 'lent' here - Tomas 'would' be grateful, so the tense should define the lending as past tense. Additionally, 'so do I' makes absolutely no sense here - it'd be 'Tomas would be grateful if you lent your help, and so would I'; or 'lent your help. So would I.'

Then there's multiple spelling mistakes like 'oppurtinity' (which should be opportunity) and 'strenghten', and so on.

I might suggest going through what's already been written with a fine-tooth comb - or maybe asking a friend to doublecheck or using a writing program if you struggle for time/if English isn't your first language and you're still learning (which, no shame!).

I don't wanna hurt Nevers :(

Well I'm not saying that the new colours for this page are hurting my eyes...

Looking forward to this!

Love this so far

Even if you've done every interaction with him you can, you can only text him at the moment.

I can't seem to get the content warnings to function. Is there a bug or is it something on my end?

What happens to Chris if you don't cure him of the Bladenboro Beast curse in Episode 4? Is he gone forever? Or does he come back?
